Around Thanksgiving 2024-I notice a lump on my right side
Febuary 25th, 2025-Diagnostic Mamo and Ultrasond. They measured the lump to be about 2.3 centimeters and set up a biopsy to determine if it’s a fibroid cyst or pheyllodes tumor. It appears there is no major concern.
March 31st, 2025-Biopsy Day…..lump measures about the same and seems stable.
April 3rd, 2025-Radiologist calls with results……”You have an agressive form of IDC breast cancer. Contact an oncologist and surgeon immediately” I’m blindsided as we never once talked about this being a possibility. I contact a breast surgeon referred to me.
April 4th, 2025-I meet with Dr. Baer. She spends 2.5hrs with me explaining every detail. Key notes, its very aggressive and we will be doing chemo, surgery, radiation and possibly reconstructive surgery. Within the first hour I had 3 more appointments, an echo, MRI and a meeting with oncology. I also had an appointment for surgery to put in the port for treatment.
Tuesday April 8th, 2025-Echo goes well! Heart looks good. MRI also goes well, the lymphnodes look clear and the mass is contained. All confirmed by the Oncologist. She also goes over two treatment plans. We are awaiting one more test to determine which plan it will be.
Wednesday April 9th, 2025-Confirmed its Triple Negative, and we will be taking the most aggressive treatment plan of the two options.

I simply cannot wrap my mind around this! But I do know that you are in the palm of God’s hands and that he is good all the time! His love will make you strong !You’re loved beyond measure! Please know my prayers will not cease and that angels will be watching and he will perfect all that concerns you! Sending you peace in this difficult time. Be still and know he is God.
