Introducing…..The Red Devil

Hi Everyone!!
Today was the big day, I literally lost sleep over it all week long. I tried to keep myself busy to avoid thinking about it. I was getting pretty anxious. It was a LONG day. We had a few extra labs to do going in so that took close to 2hrs. I get two pre meds now, those are back to back. Nothing can run at the same time outside of a med and saline. I had my Keytruda, the red devil and then another chemo med after that!! Good news is….All went well, labs were great, I only have 3 left and so far, I feel ok!! Yay! We will see what tomorrow brings! I’ll still continue my weekly updates even though the treatments will be every three weeks. I will say, it was really hard to watch her inject the medicine in like she did. It’s like watching someone poison you. I got teary to be honest. I’m resting now, tomorrow I have to go back for a shot and I’m going back on Friday for fluids, need it or not!! Thank you again for all of the support, I can definitely feel it getting closer to the end!!
