Hi Everyone!!
Well, I’m officially in the thick of treatment! My labs were the lowest they’ve been today. MI was able to get my treatment, but I’m going to have to try to keep them stable for next week. Lots of protein and greens seem to help. After next weeks treatment, I’ll get the shots again. Last week I was nauseas for 4 straight days even with the nausea meds!! My new addiction is Ginger Lime Poppi beverages. It’s helps and is less sugar than traditional ginger ale!! Plus probiotics! I’ve been able to still push through and get some things done. I’ve been out in the garden, getting a work out in here and there and working with Addy on learning how to ride a bike. I think we can get her training wheels off by end of summer!! I drive Danaca to cheer from time to time as well. Addy started some swim lessons, so Adam is taking her, which left Katelyn to take me today! Dad wasn’t feeling well. Katelyn was great! She had me playing wordle and a few other games to get me through the cold gloves and socks!! I’m so grateful for all of the positives while I battle the negatives!!

Well, you are hands down the strongest person I know. I pray every day and think of you a lot. I will be cutting soon and taping to show you. We have been busy lately but I’ll call soon just to “shoot the breeze” as my dad would say. Love you so much.

I’d love to come keep you company one of these Wednesdays, Christina! I’ll text you and Adam to pick a date. And the nausea and fatigue are a real b*tch! When the fatigue isn’t bad enough to lie down all day, but still gets you tripped up, think of the things you can modify to do sitting down (like chopping veggies while sitting at the dining table) because the legs have the largest muscles that demand a lot of energy. Also, consider the value of micro-breaks! Sitting every 15 minutes for a minute or so can work wonders. Eyes-closed relaxation in 3-5 minute breaks can also help. The brain uses a lot of energy for our vision, so closing the eyes is quite a relief. Love you!!
