*******Update #4 ***********
(I think, so challenging to focus today)
Last night was another rough night, as hes still vomiting 🤢 all night, fever 🤒 set in, his pain level spike back up to 18
We are now learning more about his infection which they believe he's fighting two different ones... resuyls of one type they never expected & trying to figure out how he contracted it
Not only is it in his brain, chest, and bloodstream
Possibly his heart ❤️, we are going down that road this week to see where it leads.
We are numb... as we continue to process so much information while running on very little sleep/food.
Update on Maleea - she was rushed to the ER last night
Post ER, we haven't slept in 24 hours at this point, or dang near feels like it, as the ER did all the necessary protocols we set in place with our team long time ago. They worked quickly, but also super dang slow on other areas
Maleea is now stable — no longer vomiting after the 6th or 7th episode, thanks to the meds and IV fluids. She’s not eating yet, but she’s resting.. ER imaging revealed inflammation and an enlarged area in her abdomen, so we’ll be following up with her specialist first thing Monday morning.
They tested her for the same infections Malachi is facing, and thankfully, she shows no signs of infection. That is a huge win
Her little body can't handle much, but she fights HARD to get through it.
