UPDATE
We made it home last night Nov 27th after 23 days away tucking away on the 8th floor of Seattle Children's Hospital to hotel for a few days— and wow, nothing hits like walking back into your own house.
Driving through our little town was a sweet moment ❤️. I showed Malachi all the holiday lights that have gone up, and he asked to take his cane and enjoy a 5-minute stroll on his own along the water and through the tunnel. Meanwhile, Dad was at home putting up holiday lights for us, making everything feel cozy again.
It feels so good to finally be home. Now the next mission begins: getting back to something that resembles “normal”… and unpacking everything (because of course we had just moved a month ago).
We really don’t get many breaks, but we’re grateful for this 7-day stretch at home before brain infusion #159.
Thank you all for the love, support, and prayers. We’ll update again once we’ve had a moment to breathe and rest. ❤️
