August 17, 2026 Update

Great news! Castiella has started eating and drinking water again, after about 3-4 days.

Castiella, our senior cat, wasn’t eating or drinking, and seemed so tired. After her shots, she changed and didn’t want food. At the vet, they couldn’t figure out why. The vet gave us special food, medicine for tummy issues (probiotics), a medicine to reduce swelling (anti-inflammatory), and an ointment for her ear infection. They even gave her liquids because she was dehydrated. All tests came back normal, and we were told to follow vet’s orders and try to feed her.

Still, she seemed so tired and wouldn’t eat her special food. We took her back to the vet but we didn’t get many answers as all her tests came back normal. However, we were told to continue monitoring her eating and bathroom habits and have her return to be seen again if she isn’t getting any better.

We worried a lot and spent about $1,000 so far on her vet bills. We hope for your big hearts to help us with future bills. Thank you so much! We are just so happy she’s taking a few bites and licks of water again and hope it’s a sign she’s getting better. ❤️
