I want to wish everyone a Happy Early 4th of July. Hopefully everyone has fun and is safe.
Today will be day 14 of the new medication. The side effects haven't been too bad but still annoying. Sore throat, dry mouth, easy to bruise, and even lower appetite. It really is hard watching Carvell lose more and more weight. He has lost 40lbs in just 2months. Now of course he has been losing weight this whole time, but in the beginning it was only maybe 5lbs a month if at all. We finally convinced him to go on short term disability for awhile. This way he can rest and try getting some of his energy back hopefully.
Thank you for all the prayers and support. We love and appreciate you all. Really praying for a miracle that this treatment or even a clinical trial helps shrink all the tumors that spread to his lungs so he can breathe better. We know that unfortunately this is an incurable cancer but giving him some relief would be great. And you never know, miracles do happen.
