Two weeks ago Braven woke me up with a scary seizure. His sleep has relapsed again and he is needing soothed back "to sleep" every 10 minutes or so from about 10pm till he wakes at 6:30. It's worse than newborn sleep. I have been turned into a zombie just in time for Halloween.
A med change has helped a bit with the wakings but nothing is stopping the horrific night terrors. So last night we had to keep him awake (more than normal?) and this morning we were back at Seattle Children's for some scans and then rushing back home so David can get back to work.
Sometimes it feels like we live two completely seperate, parallel, worlds.
Braven got a really REALLY helpful diagnosis two weeks ago that opened up some referrals for further testing and support. We are eager to see how that plays out and share more soon.
October is an emotional month for us as the 7th marks the loss of our little girl, Ender, and it is also Pregnancy and Infant loss awareness month, so David and I also celebrate the brief time we got with my Ryker Kai(who would be 9.5) and our Ender Aleda (who would be 1.5). ♡
We finally have a sweet, regular babysitter and David and I are getting weekly dates AND a few hours alone each to ourselves for self care and personal therapy.
Feeling exhausted and grateful.
