Checking in again with some great news! You guys have helped us raise over $3000 dollars towards our goal for Brooklyn's next stem cell treatment! We are blown away by the generosity and support you all have provided. God is good and He's using your hearts to bring so much good to Brooklyn! We are just so, so thankful!
As a result ofย her last Stem Cell treatment, Brooklyn has made huge gains! It is incredible to witness. This year has been her healthiest, happiest and most progressive year of her life!
Recent new skills that we feel strongly are a direct result of stem cells:
-Increased verbalizing with her babbling version of "talking" and communicating her needs better with us using gestures, facial expressions and sounds
-Improved vision- eye contact when we talk to her and better hand-eye coordination when playing with toys or grabbing things
-Increased use of her left arm to support herself, activate toys, or push her sister away gently lol
-Interest in food and asking for tastes of food from the table
-Improved initiation and motivation of physical skills like wanting to roll, stand, crawl and play more than before- Check out her 30 day standing challenge on Brooklyn's Besties Facebook Page!
- Noticing whats going on around her and looking directly at strangers and "talking" or greeting them, joining in on table conversations at restaurants
This is amazing progress for such a short time and these are new things we thought may take years for her to do. The power of this treatment along with daily practice and therapies has launched her into such a better quality of life for her and has paved a trail of unlimited possibilities for her. Theres nothing we want more than for her to be healthy, happy, and included like other children. This fundraiser may be the single most important thing we ever do for her and you guys are showing out in support. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Please, if your heart so desires or God speaks to you, help us continue this momentum. We are desperately trying to cut back, save, sell and work our tails off to cover the remaining $15k to make stem cell treatment an option by the end of August! Every dollar counts!
