We made it to week 12 and just finished the first part of chemo! It’s hard to believe it’s been 3 months of chemo already, and I’ve made it to number 12. Only 4 more left, in the home stretch!
But, these last 4 treatments will happen over the next 2 months. It’s a harder drug nicknamed the red devil. It is a way harsher and harder to deal with. I am hopeful that I can handle the symptoms well, but being realistic that I may need to rest some more.
My oncologist also said that we can do every 3 weeks for the first treatment after next Mondays- so I don’t have a horrible Christmas week and I’m so so thankful for that. ❤️ I am so excited to spend the holidays with my family and friends and really soak in the memories this year.
Life is too short. As much as I wish I wasn’t going through this, it has really shown me the true meaning of life and what really matters. Stop waiting to make the memories. Do it now. Tomorrow is not promised. ❤️
