First, I’d like to say thank you so so much for your generosity and love you all have shown myself and my family the last couple of days.
Next week is a busy week!
Next week is a busy week!
Tuesday- I have chemo orientation and tour of the cancer center.
Wednesday- CT Scan and Bone scan
Thursday- EKG/Echo
Sometime during the week, I’m getting my port placed as well.
And the first Saturday I have a farmers market in West Bend! Now do I have alot of inventory, no. But I have some, and I’d love to see your faces!

And then… chemo starts September 8th as long as I have my port!
It’s 12 weeks, once every week for 4 hours approximately each time. It’s 3 medications administered at different times during the visit.

The front half of the treatment is easier than the second half… the doctor said the last 2 months even though it’s every 2-3 weeks instead of every week, they are way more intense. The recovery time is longer and it’s harder on the body.
But we’re just going to take it one day at a time, hope for the best, and hopefully have no evidence of after by the end of chemo before surgery.
