We made it back to Arizona, but quickly went inpatient again with worrisome symptoms and a suspected infection. Today makes day #19 inpatient. We don't yet have all the answers, but hopefully soon. Unfortunately, Gabe has spent three of his siblings' birthdays in the hospital. But being the sweet, thoughtful boy that he is, he chose a Lego kit specifically for his sister when volunteers came around with fun options to occupy him during his stay and also gifted her a teddy bear that he used his once-a-week coin to win. This is who he has always been and it's beautiful to see that shine through during such a difficult time.  It is really hard for our family to be separated so much of each day, and we all cannot wait until we are home together again.
