Out of Surgery 🙌🏻

Brett is out of surgery and recovering 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

We didn't get the outcome we had hoped for. 

They cleared out the clots, but clots kept reforming behind them. They couldn't give him a full dose of blood thinners to fix it because of his internal bleed. We're still trying to process everything the doctor said, but basically the stint had a lot of scar tissue and won't work. Theres a little bit of blood flow still - so we will take it for now 🙌🏻

This procedure bought us some time. Once his hematoma heals, it's likely they'll need to do another surgery and do a full bypass of the artery. 

He is recovering in his ICU room. For tonight, please pray for the following:

• continued blood flow and circulation through his leg 
• no more blood clots, and no internal bleeds
• A miracle of full use of his leg regardless of the artery being blocked 🙏🏻
• encouragement for Brett. This isn't the outcome we had hoped for.

Our God is good and we still know and believe that he works ALL things together for the good of those who love him 🤍
