July 1- Treatment #3

Hey everyone- it's Brent!

Sorry for the delay- we have been without internet for a few days! We are currently at the infusion center getting my pump disconnected and finishing up treatment #3! A quarter of the way done!  It's been a bit of a physical and emotional rollercoaster over the past 3 treatments, but I'm still here fighting and I am not backing down!  

I wanted to take this time to thank everyone for all your support.  It means the world to us and has been the fuel I need to stay engaged and aggressively attacking my illness.  From the meals, videos, lawn care, grocery gift cards, meal gift cards, fresh fruit and veggie deliveries- none of it goes unused and unnoticed.  We could not do this without your support!  Your support has allowed me to focus entirely on nothing but getting better and fighting this thing with all I got.  Your support has humbled me and motivates me.  I cannot wait to see all of you soon.

I also want to thank my sister Jen and my dad who are coming down this week to stay with me so that Lyndsy can go to dance nationals with Cora in Las Vegas.  Thanks to all of your financial support she is able to be with Cora as she competes with her team next week.  We have done the best we can keeping the kids in their routines and not letting this burden them.  They have been great.

Please follow along on my facebook and instagram (@bwspirits) accounts as I will continue to share update videos and bring you all along for the journey.   Please share those sites and this support now with whomever you would like and whomever wants to stay updated.  I am determined to use this gift that God has given me to help others on their journey- whatever their journey might be.  I see all of your messages and responses and I love hearing from everyone so please do not hesitate to reach out anytime.  I will get to it as soon as I can.

Lastly- keep praying!   I feel your prayers and love and I am seeing their impact.  I have met quite a few people here in the infusion center.  I vowed to bring light to a pretty depressing place.  These nurses are all angels.  They are often forgotten in all of our fights.  I have met quite a few people over the last few weeks also in their fight against cancer, but two individuals in particular, Mike and Shana could use your prayers.  If you don't mind, please add the doctors, nurses and Mike and Shana to your prayer lists.  

If there is one thing that has been crystal clear through all of this is that God has all of it under His control.  He is the ultimate healer and He is working miracles with me and others.  I continue to thank Him for this gift and His healing and I trust Him with my future.  He tells us to trust Him and not worry.  I am doing that everyday.
