Tonight, Blake is back in the ICU under heavy sedation and intubated. Earlier tonight, he underwent an interventional radiology (IR) procedure to stop internal bleeding. The past several days have been incredibly difficult, and he has faced a series of life-threatening complications requiring constant care from his medical team at MUSC-Charleston. 

 

Since we first shared Blake’s story, he has undergone multiple blood transfusions, begun chemotherapy, and fought through several major procedures and surgeries. 

 

We are still searching for even the smallest light at the end of this tunnel. 

 

We remain deeply grateful for the outpouring of support, prayers, and encouragement. Your kindness is helping carry Blake and our family through one of the hardest battles of our lives.
