Yesterday marked 115 days since my accident and 53 days since coming home, meaning I’ve been home just slightly longer than my stay in medical care.
I’ve made significant progress in mobility, sleep, focus, memory, and organization, thanks to the encouragement of medical professionals and the experiences of fellow TBI survivors.
While progress has slowed and I still face challenges with balance, endurance, muscle tightness, and low energy, I remain hopeful about further recovery.
My gratitude for you, my family, friends, and healthcare team grows deeper every day. Your consistent love, encouragement, and support have carried me through this journey. I know my path would be much more difficult, if not impossible, without it.
I’m excited to share that I’ve reached some wonderful milestones—I’ve resumed driving short distances, engaging in virtual volunteer activities, and reconnecting socially with friends and within my communities. With this momentum, we feel it’s the right time to close this chapter and the website.
As I look ahead with optimism and excitement for what’s next, I welcome you to reach out directly to me and I will be in touch as I am able.
With Love,
Bill
