BEElieve In Benny
There are moments in life that remind us—without a doubt—that when God’s hand is on something, nothing can stop Him. Benny’s journey has been filled with challenges we never expected, but through every trial, God has placed the right people in our path, the right resources in our hands, and the right hope in our hearts.
Yesterday, we were reminded again of just how good people really are. Our first hyperbaric oxygen therapy session went well, but what stood out the most was the doctor’s story. Nine years ago, his son had a brain tumor. The surgery was supposed to be straightforward, but complications changed everything. Desperate to help his son recover, he bought a hyperbaric chamber—never intending to use it for anything beyond his own family. But then, he watched his son go from being wheelchair-bound to walking and living a normal life. And in that miracle, he saw his purpose. What was once meant for one became a blessing for many.
One of us has to be in the chamber with Benny during each session, so yesterday, Travis went in with him. As we watched Benny start this next step in his healing journey, we were reminded that God never stops moving. He works through doctors, through unexpected connections, through acts of kindness we could never have predicted.
Benny’s story isn’t just about struggle—it’s about God’s unwavering presence. It’s about faith that carries us forward. And it’s about the goodness of people who remind us that even in the hardest seasons, we are never alone.
