EARLY MORNING UPDATE

Mom is still under hospice care, but we’re encouraged by the past 24+ hours. Her vitals and respiration have remained good, she swallowed a few times when her mouth was swabbed yesterday, and she’s been more vocal—even though she’s not yet awake or speaking.

Our prayer is that these are signs that Mom’s health is trending upward and that hospice will soon be a thing of the past! 🙏🏾

The hospice doctor has been keeping it real, but we’re choosing to keep our eyes on God. I believe something good is about to happen—something God is about to take place! We’re going to keep praying, believing, and expecting the unexpected.  “Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” — Isaiah 43:19 NKJV 💛

We’re incredibly grateful for the love, laughter, meals, and ceaseless prayers covering Mom and our family. They are helping us tremendously keep our spirits lifted.

If you’d like to help in a tangible way during this season, it can be done via this SupportNow page where you can contribute or simply follow Mom’s journey.

We’re still believing. We’re still praying. And we’re still expecting God to move— and asking that you stand in agreement with our prayers 🙏🏾💛

AFTERNOON UPDATE

Just spoke with the hospice doctor who is caring for Mom this week, and I’m so grateful for his compassionate and optimistic approach. He is realistically seeing signs of progression, but he also reminded us that no one knows exactly when anything will happen. His best estimate is anywhere from hours to days.

I hear what he’s saying, but I’m choosing to keep my heart anchored in faith, hope, and prayer. 🙏🏽❤️

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1 (NKJV)

So while we prepare for every possibility, I’m still believing God for a miracle. We know who holds Mom’s life in His hands, and I’m not giving up hope!

Still praying. Still believing. Still expecting God to move. 🙏🏽✨
