Twenty-five years ago today, our country experienced a devastating loss. Twenty-five days ago, our family experienced one of our own.

Because of the weight of our loss, I wanted your final “see you later” to fall on a day that would never be forgotten. Though we will celebrate your life tomorrow instead, your earthly departure will forever remain one of our greatest losses on this side of heaven.

We love you beyond words. We miss you beyond measure. And I pray tomorrow honors your life, your legacy, and the extraordinary woman you are.
