August 11: Mom Update ❤️🙏🏽

Good morning, family. I just spoke with Mom’s nurse practitioner with Palliative Care. They’ve decided not to proceed with the paracentesis today because of concerns about the potential for a negative outcome. Instead, they’ll continue managing Mom’s labored breathing medically and keeping her as comfortable as possible.

Based on how Mom has looked over the past 24 hours, the NP shared that she believes Mom may have hours to days left with us.

But we know that God is still God, and He is still in control. 🙏🏽 We’re holding onto hope, trusting Him with every moment, every breath, and every detail.

So we’re staying close, loving on Mom, praying over her, and believing God for His will, His grace, His peace, and His presence to cover her completely.
