With heavy hearts, we acknowledge that our beloved mother, Barbara Gibbs-Hodge, has passed away. While we mourn her loss, we are choosing to celebrate the beautiful life, love, laughter, and legacy she leaves behind.

As we prepare for her Celebration of Life, we would greatly appreciate donations toward making this a beautiful, joy-filled celebration in lieu of flowers or plants. Every contribution will help us honor Mom in a meaningful way. ❤️

That said, Mom loved flowers and plants (which mom especially loved), so if you would like to send them, we would be honored to receive them! 🌸🪴 Please have them arrive on Friday, September 11th between 2:00–6:00 PM so they can stay fresh.

Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and support as we celebrate Mom’s life and legacy. ❤️

So sorry for your loss. I met Barbara initially on the phone because we were on the same meds about 5+ years ago. She was a positive sister on this journey. We finally met in person at a conference a couple of years later. We appreciated each other's company. So we met every year after and broke bread together. One year we both brought our daughters. Ironically I have been sharing her pickle juice tidbit this whole week. May she rest in peace. God bless you all.

Sending my prayers and condolence's to the family. Barbara and I go back to our preteen years. We played together, went to school together and prayed together at the Thomas Chapel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ. I have many fond memories of my friend Barbara. She was an intelligent beautiful person with a beautiful smile and a unique laughter. She truly will be missed by all that knew and loved her. Rest in peace my friend. We love you but God love you best. Peace and blessings, your friend, Olivia Monk Henderson
