Antonio Amazes Us with His Resilience

We want to share how proud we are of Antonio. He did great during his first three days back at school. Even though he feels tired afterwards, his resilience (ability to keep going even when things are hard) shines through. We are all amazed at how strong and determined he is.

Antonio goes to dialysis regularly. Dialysis is a treatment that helps when kidneys can't do their job. The doctors, known as nephrologists (kidney specialists), are keeping an eye on how his kidneys are working. They check his kidney function numbers (test results) often to make sure he stays on track.
