Update for Bailey 10/5/2026

     Bailey is blessed to have everyone in his corner; we are all so thankful for the prayers and everything everyone has done to support his recovery in every capacity. 

Bailey is continuing to make progress on his road to recovery.

     This morning the Burn Unit Nurse cleaned, medicated and dressed the extensive burn and the placeholder for the skin graft on his face.  She is positive the skin graft will be amazing.  She will return for this process until his surgery on Thursday. 

     PT and Occupational will came by this afternoon to work with him and get his body up and walking. 

     The supervising doc on the floor did his rounds.  He said they will now more after surgery Thursday, but he should be transferring to an intensive rehab program soon hopefully by the weekend, fingers crossed. 

     Praying speech comes today and says he's ready to get rid of the feeding tube but might not be by till tomorrow.

     We are so proud of the progress he's made.  We love seeing his handsome smile and spirits when he's been able to see a friend or few family members.
