Update on Ayden’s current status

Last night, at approximately 10:30 PM, Ayden was transported by CareFlight from Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno to UC Davis Medical Center.

After five and a half days, Ayden reached the necessary medical milestones to be safely transported. A bed became available, and a primary physician and surgeon were assigned to his care. We are incredibly grateful that he has now arrived at UC Davis and is in the safe, capable hands of their ICU medical team.

Ayden will remain at UC Davis for an undetermined amount of time as his treatment and recovery continue. Please be aware that UC Davis has much stricter visitation policies. There is very limited space for family to wait, and only two visitors are permitted at a time.

Josh will remain at the hospital with Ayden throughout his stay, while Liz will be traveling back and forth between Carson City and Sacramento.

PLEASE, before making plans to visit Ayden, contact Josh or Liz first to get their approval. We understand how much everyone wants to see him and show their love and support, but it is important that we respect the hospital’s guidelines and the family’s needs during this time.

The encouraging news is that Ayden is doing well and remains in good spirits. ❤️ We know there is still a long road ahead, and we ask that you continue to pray for his healing, strength, and complete restoration. Please keep lifting Ayden up in prayer and standing alongside this family as they navigate the days, weeks, and months ahead.
