Hello friends and family-

I am sorry this has taken so long to get to you.  No excuses.  I hit a wall last week.  The Thursday drive back from Charlotte took about 2 hours longer than usual due to traffic.  Plus, I had pushed it a little too much that day.  So, I hit a wall on Friday and couldn’t really get gog on my cancer responsibilities until today.

And it is just as well that I did, bc I have such good news.  On Friday of last week, my doctor was still fighting with insurance to approve the plan HE wants to follow, not theirs.  And we won today.  Around 2:00 I heard from a team member that the meds he wants to start on were approved.  This is great news! I now have a plan!!!  Sorta.  (For those of you who thought I had already started my oral chemo, that plan was changed due to some errors, but all is well now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Moving forward
I will pick up my oral chemo tomorrow while I am in Charlotte. I will be on that a week and then start on IV chemo. The IV chemo will be for 5 days straight.  The question is-where?  Part of me is wanting to stay here in Franklin for the ease of it & to be with my cat. By ease, I mean, not having to move.  However, this is a dark & dank place in the winter which is, along with other factors making it difficult to stay here.
The worst-case scenario is that I will need a bone marrow transplant on down the road. This will mean 30 days in the hospital and 60 days at home with someone with me 24/7.  I am still determining where I will reside for those 60 days. Once I know that answer, I will set up a schedule on this site for ease in selection. So, if you will, please be thinking if this is a way you might want to volunteer.
For my praying friends, please ask for assistance in getting the bone marrow to start growing on its own; for those sending healing energy/Reiki/ or Healing Touch, please focus on that area-my bone marrow production.  I am holding a vision for and praying for a return to full health as soon as possible and for me to be an open vessel to what Spirit is wanting to teach me at this juncture in life.
I am going to add this to Facebook if you prefer to communicate that way.
Please know all the support received thus far-calls, texts, messages here and Messenger, cards, signing up for tasks, and the monetary support leaves me feeling loved, blessed and supported.  Thank you for your part in that.
Much Love… <3
