Thank you to everyone for your support. We are so blessed to have a community helping us navigate this unique life with Andrew. We wanted to answer some more questions we’ve been getting.
- How long does it take to work? Stem Cell results usually show up around 4-6 months after the infusion
- How are the stem cells administered? Just through an IV in his arm.
- Why does he need alternative therapy as well? Studies show that she patient sees better gains in abilities if an alternative therapy is done soon after a stem cell infusion.
- Why isn’t this covered by insurance? Stem cell therapy for CP is still in its study phase so this is considered elective even though there are plenty of results proving it works.
