The Veino Black Family
We’ll be celebrating Michael’s life twice:
💜 Viewing: Wednesday, October 22nd from 4–7 p.m. at St. Catherine of Sienna Episcopal Church (4747 Sienna Pkwy, Missouri City, TX 77459). Childcare will be available.
💜 Funeral Service & Celebration of Life: Friday, October 24th (his 35th birthday) at 5:00 p.m., also at St. Catherine’s. His ashes will be present as we gather to remember him and the love he left behind.
Michael always wanted to feel as comfortable as possible — he hated restrictive clothing and preferred cargo shorts over anything else😆. If you’re joining us, please come in your most comfortable clothes, with Crocs encouraged! Outfits inspired by his favorite things like dinosaurs, Pokémon, LEGO, and Marvel are absolutely welcome.
If you knew him through Scouting, please wear your Class A uniform; if you trained with him in jiujitsu, wear your gi (he hated rolling in no-gi, despite his many, clever no-gi outfits 😆).
Our family has been carried by the incredible love and support of this community, and we are so grateful. Thank you for showing up for him — and for us — with the same generosity and heart that he always showed to everyone else.
