Amie Update #5.  We’ve had a bit of a scary setback.  Amie’s been in the hospital since Tuesday.  She hasn’t been eating much at all and couldn’t seem to catch her breath.  Tuesday she had a procedure to dilate her esophagus to see if that would help with eating and it seemed to, so I left for my work trip to Seattle early Wednesday morning.  However, I got a scary call from her Wednesday that she was going to the ER because she couldn’t breathe.  BIG thank you to my sister Jeri Blackwell for helping with the kids and sitting with Amie while I scrambled to find a red eye flight home.  Amie has fluid around her stomach that they’ve since drained and, worryingly, has had to have fluid drained from her left lung consistently twice a day.  A liter+ of fluid each time.  Not good.  They’re running a bunch of tests but we don’t have any answers yet.  Please continue to pray for her as we hope for some much needed good news.  With money tight already I’m going to post the SupportNow link here again.  With all the help we’ve received, her cancer bills have pretty much been paid (at least to this year’s max out-of-pocket 😬), but we have no idea how much work she’ll have to be missing, and her short term disability is all used up.  I am loathe to ask for more help since we’ve been helped so much already, and we are truly, unbelievably grateful, but there’s just a lot of uncertainty.  I just want Amie better and back to her happy bubbly self.  Anything helps; especially those prayers.  We need them.  Thanks again.  I’ll keep these updates coming; hopefully with better news.  💛💙💛💙. -Keith
