Everything with fertility preservation is going as it should be.

Ultrasound — measures the size & number of follicles. 

2 new injections added. Cetrotide & Letrozole

Lab - Estradiol (E2) blood test — gives the doctors information about how actively the follicles are developing. 

Alyssa goes back Monday for ultrasound & labs.

Cetrotide  💉 
Prevents a premature ovulation. To keep the eggs inside the follicles until the fertility team is ready for retrieval.

9 PM
Letrozole   💊 2 tablets 
Lowers estrogen production while the ovaries are being stimulated. Useful when estrogen exposure is something the doctors want to minimize.

Menopur  💉 
Contains FSH + LH activity. Helps stimulate follicle growth & supports egg development.

Gonal-F 💉
Contains FSH. Stimulates the ovaries to grow multiple follicles (egg-containing sacs) rather than the single egg that normally develops each month.
