On February 10th Allison underwent a quick and simple procedure to place a gtube button. This is a tube that goes directly from the skin to stomach. It will be used for continuous fluids overnight to improve the Dysautonomia and tachycardia symptoms. We also got Botox injections done and found out her current movement disorder specialist has never seen an HSP patient. While she was in the hospital they did occipital nerve blocks and steroid injections to reduce chronic migraines. After that we came home and went straight to another appointment to get a serial cast placed. If this doesn’t work she will have to go yet another surgery. We will also be moving to a more accessible house and are in need of a bath lift but unfortunately these cost $3000. Any help-big or small is worth it. We are very grateful for support.
