3 weeks since this whole thing started, but who's counting LOL.  

Mom's numbers were good again today and she rested a ton and had two afternoon/evening visitors.   The doctor's are adjusting one of her evening meds to see if that helps with the daytime sleepiness.  We also met with the surgical team and they are hoping we can get all her meds figured out and possibly discharge her on Monday.   Even if mom is medically ready to go home on Monday, they have to be VERY careful to ensure her pain is under control on a non-IV pain med because those can't be done at home and remember - NOTHING BY MOUTH AT ALL.  They've been testing a pain med that is given by a film we can put in her cheek since Monday - so now they'll dial back the IV pain med and see how she does.  Fingers crossed for that and no other complications. 

I added a bunch of other time slots to keep mom company Friday-Monday, so if you have an hour or 2 to spare, we'd welcome the help/company for mom!  If you are having trouble with signing up under the "Lend a Hand" section below - feel free to email or text me.
