We are so proud of Emma's hard work the past 3 weeks in a 45 hour OT, PT, and speech therapy intensive at NAPA Center of Denver. She pushed through the long days with just a few meltdowns (some days more than a few). Emma is definitely making progress with gross motor skills. She got to trial a new walker with a special attachment for her left arm to make it more Emma-friendly. We are hoping we can get Medicaid to cover one for Emma to have at home as it is anticipated she will need the use of a walker/gait trainer at part time even though she has some emerging independent walking skills as well. 

Use of her left hand continues to be a challenge, as well as communication. Please pray specifically for her oral motor skills to progress as we begin twice a week speech therapy with a new provider trained in apraxia of speech. 

On the "house front," we are working with the architect/engineer on finalizing drawings so we can submit them to some general contractors for bids to have a better idea of exactly how much money we need to raise before we can move forward with any further land development or construction.
