Why families come to me
Familes can receive completely free parent mentoring services through the Family Resource Center for Disabilities and Special Needs. We are a community parent resource center and support families through the special education process for ages 0-26. Call our office at 8432661318 to complete an intake. We have served Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties since 1999.
Lived experienceMost of us are parents of children with disabilities or have previously worked as special education teachers.

Track record
We help families navigate a range of situations and needs from just receiving/needing a diagnosis to calling us when they are in crisis due to a behavior situation. We help families understand their rights and how to request support or dispute what they do not agree with.
